Stainless Steel 347H Flanges are primarily made of iron, featuring 17–20% chromium, 9–13% nickel, and a touch of columbium (niobium) to improve resistance to carbide precipitation. The “H” designation signifies a higher carbon content, which enhances creep strength at elevated temperatures. In terms of mechanical properties, they boast a tensile strength of about 515 MPa and a yield strength of 205 MPa, along with good ductility and toughness. These flanges maintain their structural integrity and resist corrosion in both oxidizing and carburizing environments, making them perfect for high-temperature and pressure applications.
